How to Become a Member
We intend to expand our numbers slowly, prioritising quality over quantity. All Peritus members are required as a minimum to have:
- substantial proven experience as a specialist independent occupational therapist and case manager, including:
- work at a senior level in a varied range of roles and sectors
- at least 5 years’ experience as a specialist case manager
- comprehensive experience of writing independent reports
- specialist postgraduate qualifications
- evidence of continuing professional education and development
In addition, all Peritus members undertake to:
- participate in regular peer appraisals and discussions
- maintain memberships of all relevant professional organisations
- keep themselves abreast of relevant case law and developments in the litigation environment
